The hotel is just two minutes walk from the village centre and stands in one acre of beautifully tendered gardens which boast an outdoor swimming pool and a putting green. Each of the hotel's delightful bedrooms has been individually designed with co-ordinated fabrics and wallpapers. En suite bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities, a direct dial telephone, hairdryer, radio and colour television are standard in every room. Most of the bedrooms also have wonderful views of the surrounding fells and some even have a lake view. The hotel has two guest lounges which are spacious and light and have panoramic views of the surrounding fells. On chilly days there is a roaring log fire and a selection of board games or magazines to relax with.
