The National Trust is creating an environmentally sustainable building at St Catherine's using old rubber tyres as foundations, straw bails as walls and wood shingles as a roof in an amazing and effective combination of old and new building techniques. The building will be used for education projects for schools and other groups.

Delegates to events at The Footprint Project will be encouraged to car-share by receiving money off the cost of hiring the building.
